Help Us Name Our Vintage Airstream: Meet the Ladies

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that my sabbatical from sex and intimacy coaching took a rather unexpected turn.
Daren and I bought a vintage Airstream.
Not to travel around the country in. That would be far too predictable.
We’re transforming her into Love & Libations, a luxury mobile bar and photo lounge that we’ll be bringing to weddings, corporate events and celebrations throughout Western North Carolina and the Carolinas.
And somewhere between choosing finishes, designing a bar, figuring out where you put sinks in a 26-foot aluminum tube, and learning considerably more about trailers than I ever expected to know, one thing became obvious:
She needed a name.
Not the business. We already had that.
She needed a name.
The first names were nice.
Our marketing team started coming up with possibilities. They were Southern. Charming. Sweet.
And, well, a little grandmotherly.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with them.
They just weren’t her.
I kept looking at this gleaming silver Airstream we were creating and thinking: Where’s the personality? Where’s the sass?
If this woman were walking into a cocktail bar, I didn’t picture sensible shoes and a glass of sweet tea.
I pictured red lipstick.
A great dress.
Maybe a martini.
And definitely a woman who had lived long enough to know exactly who she was—and wasn’t terribly interested in whether everyone else approved.
Now THAT felt more like my girl.
From Southern grandmother to vintage pinup.
I went back to Carissa, who is running our marketing campaign, and told her we needed to change direction.
Think vintage pinup.
Sexy, but sophisticated.
Playful.
A little naughty.
A woman with a story to tell.
And as soon as I said it, I realized why the original names hadn’t landed for me.
For the last 15 years, I’ve spent much of my professional life helping women and couples rediscover parts of themselves that somehow got lost along the way.
Desire. Playfulness. Sensuality. Curiosity.
The parts of us that can slowly get buried beneath careers and children and mortgages and aging parents and decades of being responsible adults.
And especially for women, there’s another message that can creep in as we get older:
Tone it down.
Be tasteful.
Don’t try too hard.
Don’t be too much.
Well, apparently I don’t even want my Airstream living by those rules.
Meet The Ladies!
Once we changed the assignment, the names got considerably more interesting.
Velvet Vivienne — old money, low lighting and a very good martini.
Ravishing Ruby — red lipstick, the last drink of the night, no apologies.
Silver Belle — Southern to her bones and polished to a shine.
Bourbon Birdie — warm, quick with a story, and pours a little heavy.
Luscious Lola — arrives late, wears the good perfume and steals the night.
Now we’re talking.
And the problem is, I can make a case for every damn one of them.
So I need your help!
Help us decide who she is

You don’t need to explain yourself—but knowing this community, I’m hoping you will.
And because this should be fun, there will be a little something for the winner.
Mostly, though, I want you to play with me.
Because after all these years of talking about pleasure, desire, intimacy and what it means to feel fully alive, it seems strangely appropriate that my next adventure involves a 26-foot silver woman with a bar in her belly who refuses to have a boring name.
Some things, apparently, don’t change.
